Moshi International Bus Terminal 1MW EPS Generator
Moshi, Tanzania — 1 MW EPS Generator
Project Overview
The Moshi International Bus Terminal is a major public transport hub in northern Tanzania, where continuous power is essential for lighting, ticketing, security, and passenger information systems. The construction project specified a diesel generator for construction and operations standby that could keep the terminal functioning during frequent grid outages.
H&C supplied a 1 MW EPS generator built around a Perkins 4008TAG2 engine and Stamford alternator. The unit starts and transfers automatically on mains failure and has provided dependable standby power for the terminal since its commissioning in 2019.
